brief: Completely outfit a 225 square foot rental studio apartment with a defined bedroom, living room large enough to regularly seat 5-6 people, dining table for 4 and a dedicated exercise area. The design direction was "Don Draper", and more than anything else the client wanted an Eames lounge chair.
We have no minimum fees or budgets, nor do we insist on changing every element in a space. We believe that every positive change you make, no matter how small, is a step in the right direction. We are here to help you figure out exactly which steps will ultimately get you the space of your dreams.
Madelaine founded ad:roit on the idea that everyone deserves to live and work in great design. Thoughtful, efficient, and enjoyable spaces should not be reserved only for large or expensive projects with the latitude of ownership.
Ad:roit helped us from start to finish through our kitchen renovation. Updating a decades old kitchen in a small East Village co-op apartment is no easy task (especially in 2020 and 2021) but Madelaine guided us through it with ease. She did a great job sending us design ideas/concepts we hadn't thought about, listening to what we liked or didn't from those ideas, and laying everything out digitally so we could see how it would look. She was patient, enthusiastic, and was a great sounding board for us when it came to choosing a contractor and other specialists along the way. We would absolutely work with her again on any future projects!
