PROJECT:
In this rental friendly transformation, the client was starting a fresh chapter in her life, which included moving to a new apartment. She wanted to embrace joyful colors, luxurious textures, and exuberant art in a cohesive space equally suited to work and play. It was especially important to make sure everything selected was both human and pet friendly.
INSPIRATION:
This space is a contemporary interpretation of Art Deco design, which is typified by curved forms, jewel tones with gold accents, and repeating patterns. In this room these elements can be seen in the metallic gold ginkgo leaves stenciled on the walls, the papyrus wall paper, and curved furniture, lighting, and accessories.
